This page provides instructions on how to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data for the Poppin app, developed by Perinon AB.
We respect your right to control your personal information. Please follow the steps below to submit a deletion request.
How to Request Deletion
To request the deletion of your Poppin account and associated data, please send an email to:
In your email, please include the following information to help us identify your account:
- Your registered email address OR
- Your user handle within the Poppin app.
Please use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request for Poppin".
We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days, and notify you once the deletion is complete.
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon successful processing of your deletion request, the following personal information associated with your Poppin account will be permanently deleted from our active systems:
- Your name (if provided)
- Your registered email address
- Your profile picture (if provided)
- Your user handle
- Any content you generated directly within the app that is linked to your account (e.g., images, posts, comments)
- Other personally identifiable information collected as described in our Privacy Policy.
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained after your account deletion for specific purposes, such as:
- Anonymized Analytics Data: Non-personally identifiable usage data collected via services like Google Analytics for Firebase may be retained in an aggregated and anonymized form to help us improve the app. This data cannot be linked back to you.
- Error Logs: Anonymized error logs collected via services like Firebase Crashlytics may be retained for a limited period to diagnose and fix technical issues. These logs do not contain personally identifiable information.
- Legal Obligations: We may retain certain information if required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. This data will only be kept for the period required by law.
